Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 June 2026 · v1.0

Symplifye UK Ltd ("we," "our," or "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights.

  • Controller: Symplifye UK Ltd (company number 12953447, registered in England and Wales), 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, England, WC2H 9JQ
  • Contact: support@symplifye.com

1. What we collect

  • Contact form: your full name, email address, company name (optional), and the message you send us.
  • Analytics: we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that uses no cookies and collects no personal or personally identifiable data. It gives us only aggregate, anonymous statistics such as page views and referring sites.
  • Purchases: payment is processed by Paddle.com (our Merchant of Record). We do not receive or store your card details. From a completed order we receive limited information such as your email address, the report purchased, and a transaction reference.

2. How we use it and our legal bases

  • To respond to your enquiries — basis: consent / our legitimate interest in customer service.
  • To deliver reports you purchase and provide support — basis: performance of a contract.
  • To understand and improve our website via privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics — basis: legitimate interest (no personal data is processed for this purpose).
  • To meet tax and accounting obligations — basis: legal obligation.

3. Third parties and processors

We share data only with service providers that help us operate:

  • Paddle.com — payment processing, tax compliance, billing support (Merchant of Record).
  • Resend — delivery of report and transactional emails.
  • Cloudflare R2 — secure storage and delivery of report files.
  • Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics (aggregate only, no personal data; EU-hosted).
  • Our hosting provider — to run the website.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK and EEA (for example, in the United States). Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.

5. How long we keep it

  • Contact-form enquiries: retained for 2 years to support customer-service continuity.
  • Checkout and purchase records: retained for 6 years following the end of the relevant financial year, to comply with UK HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) statutory record-keeping requirements.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.

  • UK / EU (UK GDPR & EU GDPR): the rights above; you may also complain to a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk).
  • India (DPDP Act 2023): rights to access, correction, and erasure, and to grievance redressal.
  • United States (incl. California/CCPA): rights to know, delete, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing" of personal information; we do not sell personal data.

To exercise any right, email support@symplifye.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you.

7. Cookies and analytics

We keep cookies to a minimum. Our analytics provider, Plausible, is cookieless and sets no tracking cookies, so we use only the cookies strictly necessary for the site to function — these do not require consent. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version.
